When writing my lyrics for this track, I really wanted to tap into the roots of my home town (Owen Sound) and share some badass history while repping my city. "Smoke kush in the Corkscrew," (Corkscrew City)
Because Owen Sound was a major bootlegging HUB in the times of prohibition, a lot of people would carry a corkscrew on their person, hense the name "Corkscrew City".
If you listen to the song, its laden with references to Owen Sound, "Rep the Sound becase we Owen it" "Puttn Grey Bruce on the map with beats so hot they powder coated".

As much as I love my home town, its history, and people (esspecially the people! For real, I wouldn't be doing what im doing without you.

With that said, I am exited to expand my reach out of this area and really make a name for Wendego world wide!
